The City of Savannah’s Water Reclamation department has announced the launch of a new payment platform designed to improve the management of its Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) program. The new system, called SwiftComply FOG Solution for Food Service Establishment (FSE) Compliance, will be used to oversee program workflows, inspections, and permitting.
According to city officials, the integration of this platform is expected to streamline operations for the FOG program. It will also introduce a more efficient payment process for establishment permits and enhance how service provider manifest submissions are handled.
The system will allow users to submit pump out reports as well as applications and payments for grease interceptor permits online. Starting January 2, 2026, all manifests, permit applications, and payments related to the FOG program must be submitted through the new online platform at savannahga.gov/FOG.
A spokesperson from the Water Reclamation FOG Department stated: “The integration of this platform will streamline program operations and introduce a brand-new efficient payment process for establishment permits and optimize service provider manifest submissions.”
