Registration is now open for members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) to attend the 55th International Convention of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU). The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, located at 265 Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Georgia.

The CBTU Convention gathers trade unionists from across the United States to discuss important labor issues. At last year’s convention, IAM members participated in workshops focused on organizing, conflict resolution, leadership development, building power, and sharing strategies aimed at strengthening both their union and the wider labor movement.

A special group room rate of $185 per night plus applicable taxes is available for attendees at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The deadline to reserve rooms at this rate is April 24, 2026. Reservations require a one-night credit card deposit that can be refunded if canceled by April 15, 2026. After the cutoff date, reservations will depend on availability and may be subject to higher rates.

The official CBTU booking link is recommended for hotel reservations. Alternatively, IAM members can make reservations by calling 1-877-803-7534 and referencing CBTU.
