Congressman Buddy Carter recognizes Visit Savannah’s Jeff Hewitt for contributions to tourism

Last week, Congressman Buddy Carter recognized Jeff Hewitt, the retiring Chief Sales Officer of Visit Savannah, during a session on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. Carter highlighted Hewitt’s long-standing service and his impact on Savannah’s meetings and conventions industry.

Jeff Hewitt is set to retire at the end of 2025 after more than four decades working in tourism and hospitality. Of those years, he spent 15 with Visit Savannah. During his tenure, Hewitt was instrumental in enhancing Savannah’s profile as a leading destination for meetings and conventions.
