Registration is now open for the 2026 Veteran’s Advocate Training, organized by the IAM Veteran Services Department. The event will take place from February 8 to 13, 2026, at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland. Members interested in attending must submit their registration by Monday, December 15, 2025.

The training program offers instruction on U.S. Veterans Affairs benefits provided by certified professionals. Upon completion of the course, participants will join the IAM-wide Veteran Service Officer (VSO) team. This network supports IAM members who are U.S. military veterans.

According to organizers, “Through this course, members acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to assist veterans in navigating the often-complex VA benefits system, ensuring that our brothers and sisters who served receive the support, resources, and respect they deserve.”

Details about tuition, transportation, and curriculum are included in the call letter distributed with registration materials.

For further information or questions about registration or program specifics, individuals can contact the IAM Veteran Services Department at 301-967-4500.
