As the year draws to a close, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) International President Brian Bryant has shared a holiday message with union members and their families.

Bryant acknowledged the contributions of IAM members across various industries, emphasizing their role in keeping essential services operational during the holiday season. “IAM Union members make the holidays happen – and your union couldn’t be prouder of the work you do,” Bryant stated.

He highlighted the presence of IAM members in sectors such as airports, railroads, shops, facilities, and worksites that are critical to daily life. “From our airports and railroads to the shops, facilities, and worksites that millions rely on every day, your talent and dedication keep this country running, even as others head home to celebrate. I see the sacrifice, the long hours, and the pride you take in your craft. It doesn’t go unnoticed,” said Bryant.

Bryant also spoke about the sense of community within the union: “The holidays also remind us that our union is more than contracts and negotiations – it’s a family. It’s the way we show up for one another, lift each other, and make sure no member stands alone. That spirit of solidarity is what makes the IAM Union strong, and it’s what gives me hope for the year ahead.”

He expressed gratitude for members’ efforts not only within the union but also in their communities: “Thank you for everything you do, not just for our union, but for your communities and for working people everywhere. We are grateful for each and every one of you.”

Bryant concluded his message by wishing all IAM members a peaceful holiday season and a hopeful new year: “On behalf of the entire IAM Executive Council, I wish you and your loved ones a season filled with peace, warmth, and gratitude – and a New Year full of hope and opportunity.”
