On Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to charitable giving, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) highlighted its support for Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC). The organization encouraged donations as part of GDA | TLC’s Holidays of Hope fundraiser.

The campaign aims to provide service dogs to individuals such as military veterans with PTSD, people who are blind or visually impaired, and children with autism. According to IAM, each donation made on Giving Tuesday will help deliver confidence, love, and hope through the placement of these service animals.

“Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides,” stated the organization.

IAM described GDA | TLC as its favorite charity and called on supporters to contribute during this period following Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
