IAM retirees recently gathered at the IAM Retirees Conference to discuss their experiences and share insights from their years as active members. They reflected on their efforts to promote dignity, fairness, and secure contracts throughout their careers.
The retirees emphasized the importance of ongoing participation within the organization. Their advice for current members was direct: “get involved, stay engaged, and keep organizing.” The conference highlighted the value that retired members continue to bring to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers by sharing lessons learned and encouraging active engagement among newer members.
