IAM union members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement, resulting in several changes to their compensation and workplace conditions. The contract, negotiated by IAM District 142, includes wage increases for all levels and classifications, a $1,500 signing bonus, retroactive pay back to the contract’s expiration date, premium increases, sick time buyback provisions, and updates to vacation accrual and shift language.
According to Richie Johnsen, IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President: “This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB. This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”
The union’s District 142 team will collaborate with company leadership to ensure proper understanding and implementation of the new agreement.
John M. Coveny, Jr., President and Directing General Chair of IAM District 142 stated: “This contract delivers meaningful economic gains and important workplace protections. It’s what our members fought for and what they have more than earned.”
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) emphasized its ongoing commitment to defending member rights through collective action and strong contracts.
