JCB has introduced two new compact track loader models, the 109 hp 4TS-8T Teleskid and the 400T, expanding its lineup into the over-100 horsepower range. These additions are now the largest in JCB’s compact track loader series, offering more power and torque for operators in construction and forestry sectors.
“These machines reflect our commitment to equipping operators with the tools they need to work smarter, not harder,” said Lee Tice, Product Manager at JCB.
The 4TS-8T Teleskid is designed to provide greater reach and precision on job sites. It features a lift height of 15 feet and a rated operating capacity of nearly 4,000 pounds. This model aims to reduce the need for separate telehandlers by handling tasks such as grading, trenching, material handling, and loading within a single machine. Its compact design allows it to operate in tight spaces while still performing heavy-duty work. The machine also includes a low-leak valve body that prevents boom drift for improved safety and control.
“The 4TS Teleskid bridges the gap between compact and capability,” said Tice. “It’s the ultimate all-in-one machine for contractors who need to get more done with less equipment.”
For applications requiring significant power—such as forestry or land clearing—the new 400T model offers an operating weight of 12,544 pounds. Its updated chassis and expanded cooling system are intended to maintain performance during extended high-flow operations without auxiliary coolers. The hydraulic system delivers over 40 gallons per minute at 4,000 psi, supporting demanding attachments like drum mulchers.
“When you need equipment that works as hard as you do, the 400T is the answer,” said Tice. “With its increased engine and hydraulic performance, it’s a true workhorse built for operators tackling the most challenging applications.”
Both models were developed at JCB’s North American headquarters in Savannah, Georgia. According to JCB, customer feedback played a key role in their design process. The company states that these machines offer enhanced comfort, safety features, and overall performance improvements based on industry needs.
The new loaders are available through JCB dealerships across North America.
