World Trade Center Savannah recently held its first Global Business Summit, drawing participants from the local region and international guests. A delegation from the Quebec Government Office in Atlanta traveled to Savannah and included the summit as a key part of their visit.

The summit’s agenda featured a keynote speech by Dr. Eugene Laney, Jr., who serves as President and CEO of the American Association of Exporters and Importers. Attendees also heard a panel discussion focused on trade and tariffs, as well as an update delivered by representatives from the Georgia Ports Authority.

While in Savannah, members of the Quebec delegation met with local businesses and government officials. Their schedule included a meeting at the Savannah Area Chamber to explore potential partnership opportunities.
