The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Veterans’ Day Tribute and Military Briefing Luncheon on January 21, 2026, at the Air Dominance Center – Combat Readiness Training Center. The event, originally set for Veterans Day, was rescheduled to allow broader participation from business, civic, and military leaders in the region. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with the program starting at noon.

Richard D. Wilson, Adjutant General of Georgia, is scheduled as keynote speaker. He will discuss “the critical role Georgia’s military installations and service members play in ensuring security, readiness, and economic vitality at both the regional and state levels.”

According to the Chamber, over 20,000 service members live in the Savannah area. Their presence contributes more than $4.9 billion annually to the local economy. The Chamber encourages businesses across the region to attend to “show appreciation for those who serve, and strengthen the longstanding partnership between Savannah’s business community and the military.”

“The Veterans’ Day Tribute and Military Briefing Luncheon brings together business leaders, elected officials, and military leadership to honor service, recognize sacrifice, and highlight the continued impact of our armed forces on Savannah’s strength and success,” according to organizers.

The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce represents more than 2,300 members across different industries in the region. It supports community development through programs such as Leadership Savannah and provides networking opportunities for its members (https://www.savannahchamber.com/). The organization also advocates for local businesses by organizing events like this luncheon (https://limpar.locallabs.com/organizations/88d95a4a-16f2-4a3a-8597-51d0ffe2eb1c).
