The Veterans Salute & Military Update Luncheon, an annual event organized by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, has been postponed. The decision comes as a result of the ongoing federal government shutdown.

In a statement, the Chamber emphasized its commitment to honoring local service members and veterans through this program. “The Savannah Area Chamber remains committed to delivering a meaningful and impactful program that honors our local service members and veterans. Chamber leadership believes it is essential to host this annual event when all military partners are fully able to participate and share important updates with the business community.”

Registered attendees will be notified as soon as a new date is set for the luncheon. The Chamber expressed gratitude for the community’s patience during this delay. “Once the new date is confirmed, all registered attendees will be notified immediately. The Chamber appreciates your understanding and continued support as we work to ensure this special program receives the recognition and participation it deserves.”
