The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that its Veterans’ Day Tribute and Military Briefing Luncheon, originally scheduled for Veterans Day, will now take place on January 21, 2026. The event is set to be held at the Air Dominance Center – Combat Readiness Training Center.

According to the Chamber, the change in date aims to allow broader participation from both business and military leaders throughout the region. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., with the program starting at noon.

Major General Richard D. Wilson, Adjutant General of Georgia, is scheduled as this year’s keynote speaker. He will discuss “the vital role Georgia’s military installations and service members play in regional and statewide security, readiness, and economic strength.”

The Savannah area hosts more than 20,000 service members who collectively contribute over $4.9 billion each year to the local economy. The Chamber urges businesses in the region to attend in order to recognize those who serve and reinforce ties between Savannah’s business sector and its military community.

The luncheon is expected to bring together business leaders, elected officials, and military leadership “to honor service, recognize sacrifice, and highlight the continued impact of our armed forces on Savannah’s continued strength and success.”

For further details about the event or registration information, interested parties are encouraged to visit the Chamber’s website.
