Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bert Brantley addressed members of the Savannah Traffic Club at a recent Lunch & Learn event held at the Crosswinds Golf Club. During his presentation, Brantley discussed several important topics affecting the region’s business and logistics sectors.

Brantley provided updates on the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) campaign, the closure of International Paper, and upcoming legislative priorities. He highlighted the need for ongoing cooperation between the business community and government to support the continued growth and competitiveness of Savannah’s transportation, logistics, and warehousing industries.

“The Chamber appreciates the Savannah Traffic Club’s partnership in fostering dialogue around issues critical to our region’s economic success,” Brantley said.

The event aimed to encourage discussion on key issues impacting the local economy and to strengthen relationships among regional stakeholders.
