The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah have extended their congratulations to Paula Wallace and the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) after the university was named the top design institution in the Americas and Europe by the Red Dot Design Ranking.

SCAD stands out as the only U.S. school included among the world’s top five, highlighting its role as a leader in art, design, and creative innovation. The Red Dot Design Ranking recognizes institutions that show consistent excellence in design education and achievement. SCAD earned its place through strong performances in categories such as product design, design concepts, and brands & communication design.

“This recognition further reinforces Savannah’s position as a hub of creativity, innovation, and world-class education. The Chamber and Visit Savannah applaud President Paula Wallace, SCAD faculty, and students for their continued efforts to elevate Savannah’s profile on the international stage,” according to a statement from the organizations.
