Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, in partnership with the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation and WTOC, has launched a program to help military service members travel home for the holidays. The “Home for the Holidays Giveaway” will provide five active-duty military personnel with round-trip airfare, allowing them to spend time with their families during the holiday season.

The winners will be able to fly either to or from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport at no cost. The initiative is intended as a gesture of gratitude from the local community toward those serving in the armed forces.

“This heartfelt initiative reflects the community’s deep appreciation for the men and women who serve and sacrifice for our nation,” according to organizers.

Nominations are currently being accepted, and those interested can submit entries or find more information at SavannahAirport.com. The nomination period closes on Monday, December 1, 2025.
