ServisFirst Bank has received an exclusive statewide endorsement from the Ohio Bankers League (OBL) for its Agent Credit Card program. This recognition will allow ServisFirst Bank to expand its credit card services into Ohio, offering community banks in the state a turn-key solution for issuing branded credit cards to both commercial and retail customers.

The OBL is the only trade association representing all banks and thrifts across Ohio. The organization provides advocacy, professional education, compliance resources, and access to programs aimed at increasing efficiency and revenue for its members. By endorsing ServisFirst Bank’s program, the OBL aims to provide member institutions with a proven tool to support their operations and customer needs.

“OBL is pleased to endorse ServisFirst Bank’s agent credit card program through a partnership with the American Bankers Association,” said Michelle Crume of the Ohio Bankers League. “ServisFirst is a trusted business partner, offering a robust suite of services that provide Ohio banks with a comprehensive solution to meet the credit card needs of both commercial and retail customers.”

“We are excited and proud to now include Ohio Bankers League in with our many state association partnership, as well as the American Bankers Association,” said Rodney Rushing, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of ServisFirst Bank.

ServisFirst Bank currently provides correspondent banking services to 388 banks nationwide and issues credit cards for 142 community banks. Many of these clients have transitioned from other agent credit card programs.

Founded in 2005, ServisFirst Bank operates in several states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. The bank recently reported assets exceeding $18 billion.

The OBL represents more than 170 FDIC-insured financial institutions in Ohio. These range from small local banks with assets just over $13 million to large institutions managing more than $2.5 trillion.
