Last month, Visit Savannah’s Aunjuli King led a five-day sales mission across several Mid-Atlantic locations, including Baltimore, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. The purpose of the trip was to promote Savannah as a destination for group travel by showcasing its history, hospitality, and coastal setting.

During the trip, the team organized a Lunch & Learn event in Annapolis. At this gathering, participants received updates on experiences and attractions that cater to groups in both Savannah and Tybee Island.

The outreach efforts included meetings with more than 25 partners from the region. Many of these contacts expressed interest in arranging future group trips to Savannah.
